Course: RYA Powerboat Level Two Training Course
A range of RYA Powerboat courses, including Level 2 are available at our training centre in the user friendly Sovereign Harbour at Eastbourne using fully qualified instructors and a variety of craft.
The RYA National Powerboat training scheme has been formed to meet the needs of those who use powerboats for leisure or work purposes. The RYA Powerboat Level 2 training course syllabus aims to provide a level of powerboat training to suit all, from the casual and weekend powerboat user, to commercial skippers.
Professional Powerboat Training to RYA Standards
The two-day RYA training course covers all aspects of power boating, and provides the skills and background knowledge required to be a competent powerboat driver. By qualifying with "Professional Powerboat Training", you will also receive lessons in the Coastal Endorsement to your certificate, which will cover tides, rules of the road, basic pilotage and navigational skills, and the general seamanship needed to keep you, and your crew, safe at sea.
Eastbourne provides a convenient and user-friendly alternative to training on the Solent, Poole Harbour etc. Being located on the South East Coast, Sovereign Harbour is convenient for those in London, Essex, Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex.

RYA Power Boat Level 2 Training Course Fees:
Duration: 2 days
£250 per person / £375 with 1:1 tuition / £500 for 3 students / £ 400 on your own boat (up to 3 people) Prices includes: RYA Powerboat Logbook, Certificate (on completion), All Fuel (except own boat courses). The duration can be reduced to a 1 day training course depending on previous experience. Min age: 12 years
During the summer months a surcharge may apply for the use of the Raider 18 for weekend training. POA. Own boat tuition also available.
