The boat has been busy during the past couple of weeks with several bookings and being lifted out the water for on Tuesday 29nd for maintenance.
Alex and Tim got a trip in at last and had several cod over the Horse on muppets. On Sunday 19th May, Robertas and crew caught cod on the Long shoal before moving to near the Sovereign L
ight tower where they had a few more cod including a beauty of 12lbs. On Wednesday 29th Alex and Mike were joined by Jim for a go over Long shoal. They caught 4 cod then, as the tide slackened, steamed down off Hastings to land a dozen plaice including one of 3lbs for Alex.
Rig; Two size 1/0 hooks with several beads on the trace and fished from a spreader was the successful method. Bait was lugworm tipped with squid strip.
